X-Men Series: A School For Gifted Youngsters

A couple days ago, Fox Network announced the development of a X-Men television series based on the team of mutant superheroes who attempt to protect the human race and mutant-kind. During the Television Critics Association Press Tour, co-chairman Dana Walden mentioned that Fox are discussing terms with Marvel. “We’re in negotiations with Marvel,” Walden revealed to the press. “We’re hopeful that we’ll be able to announce something soon. It’s something we’re definitely pursuing.” The success of X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, present wonderful opportunities for Fox to tell more stories about mutants and their powers.

Walden also described the X-Men show as a “long-running” series which will only feature characters from Fox’s X-Men Movie Universe. Unfortunately, Fox cannot include all of the characters from X-Men because of per licensing contracts with Marvel and Marvel Studios. The idea of a live action series starring members of the X-Men would definitely make history. I am very excited for the possibly of having Charles Xavier’s school for the gifted open and mutants living amongst us. So what do you think? Let me know your opinions. Would you like to see X-Men on TV? Are you excited? Who should appear on the show? Who is your favorite X-Men? Who should be the lead villain for season 1?

You know what to do. Leave your comments below and thank you for reading my blog God bless.
